Leadership Moment - The Power to Persevere
COVID-19 is leaving a wake of destruction around the globe. At the same time, it is developing a resilience the likes of which has not been seen for generations. Our heroes include the healthcare worker isolated from her family, the student whose food insecurity inspires her to organize meals to help feed her classmates, the laid off restaurant worker who, despite a growing pile of unpaid bills, volunteers to run errands for his elderly and immobile neighbors.
Five or ten years from now when we look back at what we’ve overcome, we will remember the connections who helped us through this moment and the meaning that gave us the will to endure and the power to persevere.
