"The Future Of..." Season Three Launches February 11th!

The future…it fills many with great optimism. At the same time, the future can be scary. It’s unexplored territory. It holds our greatest hopes and our biggest fears. It’s natural to want to contemplate and explore what the future will bring us. That is why for Season Three of the podcast, we are dedicating all 12 episodes to interviews with geniuses who are creating the future or who can help us understand the dramatic changes the future will bring.

It is a certainty that just about every aspect of our lives and the way we work will change in this new decade. The way we protect our privacy, how we find love, the way we lead, how we practice democracy, worship, age, trust, travel, shop, communicate, cure diseases, solve homelessness and immigration, tackle global warming. It’s all going to change and we are going to explore these changes. We hope you will join us.

Our first episode is with Cecily Sommers. She is a futurist who discusses her model for understanding the future. She also talks about how AI, gene editing, and quantum mechanics will be the three most disruptive forces to life as we know it.

Dr. Robert Eichinger will be returning to the show to talk about the future of leadership. Alvaro Marquez discusses the study he and his team at Method did with Hitachi on the future of trust. Author and entrepreneur Gino Wickman will discuss the future of entrepreneurship. On Being podcast host Krista Tippett will discuss the future of faith.
